Elise Vaughan has been in love with colour and shiny stuff her whole life. She is a multidisciplinary Creative and Visual Artist based in Sydney, Australia with a penchant for the beauty industry. She revels in creating spaces for people to immerse themselves in the mystery of makeup and fashion and has mastered her craft through an obsession with textures and materials and a passion for art and culture.
Elise’s artistic practice centres around the feats and limitations of the human heart and condition. Her photographs, paintings and installations focus on social and cultural inclusion, encouraging understanding and emotional shift. Her pieces have been exhibited on the walls of galleries in Sydney to the dusty plains of Burning Man’s Black Rock City Nevada.
Elise has a Bachelor of Visual Communication majoring in photography from Newcastle University and a Masters of Design Communication from RMIT.
